Botallack, Cornwall, October 2015. A self found rarity, though at first unsure of its exact i.D..,but I knew it wasn't a Northern, and after contacting the county recorder it was confirmed as a Pied, only the second record for Cornwall. It just popped up in front of me where luckily I was ready with my camera and 500mm lens as I was photographing a Kestrel at the time, then it flew over a wall ,never to be seen again!.
