Battle of the Great Blacked Gulls_1. The pair of Gulls were just starting to get to know each other

Uig,Isle of Skye,May 2012. While waiting for the ferry to take us across to the Hebrides I watched this sequance play out in front of me. A pair of Great Black Backed Gulls were courting and getting along famously untill a third bird decided to try his luck and a right royal battle broke out between the two males, this carried on for some time untill the first bird ( I think ) drove off the interloper.Great to watch & photograph.
